JRF and SRF Positions Scholarships Applications in Neurobiology of Sleep


The Scholarships Applications appointment will be for one year, which may be extended, depending on satisfactory progress of the candidate, for the duration of the project. DBT/DST and JNU rules will be followed for the appointments.
Eligibility: As per DBT/DST rules. For JRF – M.Sc. with NET or B.Tech. with GATE or, M.Tech. For SRF – M.Sc. plus NET with a minimum of two years of active research experience in neurobiology or related work. Or, M.Tech with a minimum of two years of active research experience in neurobiology or related work. M.Sc./M.Tech. in physical sciences with experience/interest preferably in computational Neurobiology/Bio-informatics will be preferred for at least one of the positions.
Important : 1. Candidates are welcome to visit the lab Web site. 2. The undersigned may be contacted for clarification. 3. Selection in the project does not in any way qualify candidates to register for Ph.D. in JNU. 4. Short listed candidates will be called for interview, if necessary.

International Scholarships Applications for of Communications


The College of Communications Scholarships Applications Form (required to be considered for any scholarship from the College). Available online below. FAFSA (Free Application for Federal and State Aid) is required for scholarships that stipulate financial need. In order to establish and document your financial need, you must complete this form in accordance with instructions from the Office of Student Aid. This financial statement should be filed as soon as possible after Jan. 1. This form is required for any Scholarships Applications awarded for “demonstrated financial need,” and more than 95 percent of College of Communications scholarships require that proof. If you have questions about the FAFSA form, please contact the Office of Student Aid by phone (814-865-6301).

Eligibility:
Scholarships Applications Recipient selection is based on the pre-set criteria established for each scholarship. While on scholarship, students must continue to meet the eligibility requirements:
Declare a major in the College of Communications at University Park
Complete a full-time course load (12 or more credits per semester with a requirement of 30 credits per year)
Maintain a respectful cumulative GPA
Attend scholarship recognition events as requested
